The engine oil filter on a Pontiac engine is spun onto the engine block by way of a bulky cast adapter unit. This can be a hindrance when attempting to install long tube headers or swap the motor into a different chassis. This complete oil filter relocation system gets rid of the bulky 90 or 120 degree filter adapter by replacing the bracket with a bolt-on bypass adapter. The bolt-on adapter uses a pair of brass fittings that connect to Trans-Dapt's oil lines ultimately connecting to a remote filter base which you can position virtually anywhere on the vehicle's frame firewall or fenderwell.

Requires separate purchase of a FelPro #13426 or Victor-Reinz #71-13899-00 oil pump gasket and and FRAM PH8 (or equivalent) engine oil filter.
