LS Retro Fit Oil Pan

LS swaps are popular amongst classic enthusiasts - they offer big power potential without the big price tag. This retro-fit aluminum oil pan is a great option for your LS swap build. It can be located in the same applications where the “F-Body” GM pan can be used. This oil pan uses OE style filters such as the AC Delco PF48/PF48E, K&N HP-1017 Wix 57060, or equivalent oil filter.

This high-quality oil pan is ideal for swaps in the following models:

• Camaro/Firebird (’67-’69)


• Nova/Apollo/Ventura/Omega (68-74)


• GM A-body (’64-’72)


• G-body (’78-’87)


• F-body (’82-’92)

Engine position (fore/aft or height) may need to be adjusted for clearance, depending on application, and this pan will not fit dry sump engines (LS7, LS9). Also, this oil pan is designed for use with GM #12558253 windage tray, which may need to be altered to add clearance for the pick-up tube. This pan has 1/2″ NPT bungs on both sides for turbo drains and a maximum stroke of 4.00. It will also require the use of an LS3 style dipstick and tube:
