LS376/525 Crate Engine

Born on the race track, the Chevrolet Performance LS376/525 Crate Engine is a high-revving handful when it's dropped into any vehicle. With 525hp available at a breathtaking 6200 rpm, but an extremely tractable 486 lb./ft. of torque on tap at only 5200 rpm, the LS376/525 makes the best of both worlds of power. The secret– The hot ASA hydraulic roller camshaft  with .525-inch lift on both intake and exhaust sides, along with 226 degrees duration on the intake valves and 236 degrees on the exhaust valves. This lets the 6.2 L V8 breathe deeply well into the rev range. Higher rate valve springs ensure that the LS3's legendary reliability is never compromised, even at high rpm. With super strong internals (6 bolt, cross-bolted main caps) and ultralight aluminum pistons, you'll be amazed at how quickly the LS376/525 spools up - and how quickly you leave everyone else in the dust.
